In the southern reaches of the Korean peninsula, life moves at a sleepy pace for the foreigners hired to teach English. That is, until the undead start walking, demanding the flesh of the living, and chaos reigns in the streets.
The foreigners seek refuge in the local bar, and in the morning attempt a cross-country escape. An Army-protected 'safehouse' under military law is perhaps more dangerous than the streets, and they must then journey out to an island where further dangers lurk.
Meanwhile, a film-maker and anthropologist is holed up with a small contingent of the United States Army, and it turns out that he unwittingly may hold the key to ending the terror.
Safehouses, abandoned churches, army outposts with mad commanders – who will survive the terror of The MZD, and what awaits on the other side of the madness? Surrounded by zombies, in a country with no guns, and they don't speak the language. Problem? What problem?
The MZD: a novella of undead horror, is now available as an eBook for 2.99.
